Glean
A guided evening reflection rooted in the ancient Ignatian Examen.
The Ignatian Way
The Six Steps
Each evening, move through six stations of prayerful reflection drawn from the Ignatian Examen.
Quiet
Take a moment to breathe, center yourself, quiet your spirit. Recognize that God is present with you.
Begin each evening by silencing the noise of the day in a brief, guided breathing meditation.
Recall
What small blessing did you receive today that you might have missed?
Review your day with gratitude, noticing where God's goodness was at work in the small moments.
Attend
Examine the emotions felt throughout the day and consider their meaning.
Name what you felt and why — bringing your inner life before God without judgment or shame.
Pray
Offer up your struggles and ask for His peace.
Bring your needs and the day's significant moments to God in written or spoken prayer.
Look
What is one way you can love others better tomorrow?
Ask God for wisdom and grace to take on the day ahead with more love.
Still
Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart as you prepare for sleep.
Close your examen in a final moment of stillness, surrendering the day entirely to God.
A Glimpse Inside
Quiet, unhurried, and entirely yours.
