I arise today / Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity. / Through belief in the threeness, / Through confession of the oneness, / Of the Creator of Creation.
Begin by meditating on the unity of the Trinity. Ask God to draw you into greater unity with Christ today.
The Life of Christ
I arise today / Through the strength of Christ's birth with His baptism, / Through the strength of His crucifixion with His burial, / Through the strength of His resurrection with His ascension.
Praise God for Christ's life, death, and resurrection. Let the mystery of the Gospel anchor your day.
The Cloud of Witnesses
I arise today / Through the strength of the love of cherubim, / In the obedience of angels, / In the prayers of patriarchs, / In the deeds of righteous men.
Remember that you are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. Give thanks for the spiritual mentors and examples in your life.
The Strength of Nature
I arise today, through / The strength of heaven, / The light of the sun, / The radiance of the moon, / The stability of the earth, / The firmness of rock.
Appreciate the power of God expressed through creation. Ask God to give you eyes to see Him as you move through your day.
Divine Guidance
I arise today, through / God's strength to pilot me, / God's might to uphold me, / God's wisdom to guide me, / God's shield to protect me, / Afar and near.
Ask for God's direction through the challenges you will face today. Surrender your plans to His wisdom.
The Shielding
I summon today / All these powers between me and those evils, / Against every knowledge that corrupts man's body and soul; / Christ to shield me today.
Ask for God's protection against temptation, sin, and spiritual attack. Put on the full armor of God.
Christ Surrounding
Christ with me, / Christ before me, / Christ behind me, / Christ in me, / Christ in every eye that sees me, / Christ in every ear that hears me.
Commit to centering your life on Christ today. Let His presence be your constant awareness.
Final Invocation
I arise today / Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity. / Through belief in the threeness, / Through confession of the oneness, / Of the Creator of Creation.
